This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of Bolshevik armies in Poland (Polska). The top image shows Russians passing through the city of Działdowo (Soldau). The middle image shows the twenty-one-year old Bolshevist commander speaking to his troops after the capture of Grajewo. The bottom image shows the troops marching through Moscow, Russia. The caption for the bottom image writes, "Flower of the Bolshevist army, all well armed and many of them veteran troops of the old Czarist regime, marching through the streets of Moscow, the capital of the Soviet Government. The extraordinary energy of the Bolshevist Minister of War combined with systematic terrorism had succeeded in a short time in raising a formidable army."
