This is an original 1925 photogravure of a different location for Golgotha, the site of Christ's crucifixion in Jerusalem, Israel. Discovered by Major-General Charles George Gordon, this tomb lies north of the traditional site at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and is known as "The Garden Tomb," or "Gordon's Calvary."
