This is an original 1926 photogravure of columns in Olympia, Greece (Hellas). The two Doric columns come from the Temple of Hera. An earthquake destroyed the temple in the 4th century BC, and is the site of the Olympic torch lighting. Hera was the goddess of both marriage and women. She was the wife of Zeus, and was often vengeful. The photographer of this image is unknown.
