This is an original 1932 photogravure of the ruin of St. Catherine Church in Visby, Sweden. This church was destroyed when Lübeck attacked the city. The church is actually depicted in the painting "Valdemar Atterdag Holding Visby to Ransom" by Carl Gustaf Hellqvist in 1361. Photograph by Kurt Hielscher.
