1943 Budapest Parliament Hungary Orszaghaz Danube River - ORIGINAL EUR1
This is an original 1943 photogravure of the Hungarian Parliament Building in Budapest, Hungary. It is Hungary's largest building, and built by Imre Steindl, who actually went blind before the construction was completed. The photographer of the image is Dr. Martin Hürlimann. Period Paper is pleased to offer an exceptional collection of historic original photogravures of various European landscapes, architecture, and people. The actual border around the photogravure is slightly larger than what is shown in the digital image and includes a caption. However, we wanted to show you the actual image up close and the dimensions provided next to "Size" indicate the size of the actual photogravure only. These original photogravures are not to be confused with the more common halftone prints. Each of these photogravures was created from an engraved plate and provides exceptional detail, contrast, warmth, and depth, making them excellent original images for framing.
