This is an original 1943 photogravure of the toll castle, Burg Pfalzgrafenstein, located on the banks of the Rhine River in Kaub, Germany (Deutschland). The castle was constructed in 1327 by King Ludwig the Bavarian. The photographer for this image is unknown.
