Fox body Mustangs have shock towers, not strut towers in the sense that they do not see the load of the coil-springs. From the factory, the springs are contained within the control arms and the subframe, directly distributing their loads into the front frame rails.With coilover conversions, the towers see loads they simply weren't designed for.If you don't feel like trusting 40 year old sheet metal and weak spot welds to handle that task, we've got you covered.Our weld in plates tie the tower interface into the frame rails, reinforcing the tower as a whole.
