The dowel can easily be cut with heavy duty kitchen scissors or garden pruners to adjust length to your needs. NOTE: As this product is made from natural wood, there will be some variation between photos as well as product received. It is normal for some bark to slough off. In order to prevent cracking of your wood slices, please keep dry. If they become wet, allow to air dry fully prior to storage.
