Medication Technician/Aide

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION/OUTLINE: This is a 104-hour HYBRID-accelerated 4 week, (20days), program offered to provide students with opportunities to learn and grow throughout their careers. Medication Technician, as well as our other cohorts, aims to support and encourage students as they pursue their education and professional goals. You only spend 2 days in class each week; LAB days, Wednesday & Friday. The remainder of the course work is completed online from the convenience of anywhere you need to be. (Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays.) There are 3 weeks of in-class training with included skills lab trining and 1 week, the last week of class, 36-40 hours onsite clinical rotation at an assisted living facility. Our Medication Technician course teaches students how to effectively and safely medicate adult residents within the assisted livings, group homes and homecare settings.
