Roving - Lavender / Cheviot & Alpaca

This purple roving is made of 80% Cheviot and 20% Alpaca sourced from Minnesota farms. Both fleeces were dyed with natural dyes prior to being milled. The colors and fibers were blended when they were picked and carded into roving at a small Wisconsin mill. Color blending in the milling process yields a nuanced and complex color that reveals itself in delightful ways during the spinning process.   Dyes used: Osage Orange, Saxon Blue Indigo, Lac, Cochineal Sold in 2 oz braids
