Extended protection to corneal surface Some important ingredients of PERFECT DROP™ in addition to Vizoovet® are: Calcium: To increase intracellular Ca2+ levels, which boosts tear protein secretion. Glycerol: To stabilize the conformation of fibronectin, increasing the probability of effective binding to integrin. Magnesium: To stabilize the binding between integrin and the polymer-fibronectin (PF) complex. Cellulose Derivatives: Selected as the functional polymer for their superior protection of corneal cells and ability to retain water molecules on the corneal surface. The physiological properties considered in the design of PERFECT DROP™ are: pH: The pH is set slightly lower, in the range of 7.2 to 7.4, to compensate for the higher pH in dry eye tears and achieve a neutral pH.
