NEOSINE 500 mg x 20 tablets Inosinum pranobexum The medicinal product Neosine as an active substance contains inosine pranobex with antiviral activity and stimulating the activity of the immune system Indications Infections of the skin and mucous membranes caused by herpes simplex virus type I (cold sores) or type II (herpes genital herpes) and varicella zoster virus. Other viral infections, e.g. subacute sclerosing encephalitis complicating measles. Supportive in states of reduced immunity. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to inosine prabenox or any of the other ingredients of the drug. A gout attack or increased levels of uric acid in the blood. Past kidney stone. Renal impairment. Simultaneous intake of medicinal products used in the treatment of gout, increasing the excretion of uric acid, immunosuppressants, azidothymidine. Use for more than 3 months.  Age under 1 year old.
