As the saying goes, legends never die. The Center has been a P.F. Flyers icon since its introduction in 1944. The famous sneaker was notoriously worn to play baseball and basketball. Since 1937 when we debuted the first insole designed specifically for sport shoes, our shoes have found balance between form and function. Today, the Center Hi is worn to slay the game of life with its timeless style.  The Center Hi features a mid cut upper, our distinctive ribbed toe guard, a durable rubber outsole, and the feeling of Posture Foundation comfort. This special edition version, inspired by Baseball Opening Day features a striping detail through the round logo patch. The accent colors & details are inspired by iconic sports teams. The striped lining material is inspired by a vintage baseball jersey.
