As soon as soil can be prepared plant Bentley Seed Yellow Sweet Spanish onion seeds 1/4" deep. Thin to 4" apart. These onions prefer a full days sunlight so be sure to plant in an area that sees a maximum daily amount of sunlight. Keep free of weeds as onions do not compete well with them.
