Luminary - Strawberry Fields

A delicate mix of bright, mossy and light green with splashes of rose and yellow-green speckles. ~ Incredibly soft & special, Luminary is our most luxurious base to date! It is comprised of 75% 16.5 micron Ultra-fine quality 2-ply Superwash Merino, 15% Mulberry Silk and 10% Cashmere. Only 3.5% of the world's merino is fine enough to be graded Ultra-fine and this is the finest grade commercial merino available! Silk adds lovely drape and shine and Cashmere additional softness and a slight fuzzy halo. The 2ply medium twist is ideal for lace-work. This yarn begs to be made into a super-special item, like a shawl, cowl or scarf, where its next-to-skin softness and light airy quality can truly shine! ~ Fingering Weight 2-ply construction 75% Ultra-fine Superwash Merino, 15% Mulberry Silk, 10% Cashmere Approx. 437 yards (400 meters) / 100 grams Recommended Tool Size: 3mm - 4mm needles (US 2.5 - 6) and C- G hook ~ Gentle hand wash in cold recommended.  ~ Hand-dyed in small batches.
