Chubby and full, these vibrant sculptures are the result of carving, polishing, dying, and etching by talented Gusii artisans in western Kenya. The hearts arrive in a color assortment of pink, purple, dark blue and red, etched with hundreds of small lines. Size: each heart measures 2"L x 2"W x 1.25"H About the Artisans: At the Ndima Crafts' finishing shop in Nairobi's industrial district, roughly a dozen artisans of varied ethnicity transform raw soapstone by using non-toxic synthetic dyes under the leadership of Charles Ndibe.
