Body Haul: Poems by Allan Justo Pastrana

This collection offers the poet’s “contemplation of peripheries – childhood, domestic scenes, strange birds, [and] new places.” (Alfred A. Yuson) In the words of another Thomasian poet, J. Neil Garcia, “The body in this astonishing debut by Thomasian poet Allan Pastrana is of course the sensuousness of the verse form itself.” The author has degrees in Music Literature and Piano Performance from the UST Conservatory of Music. He is also working on an M.A. in Creative Writing at the UP.
