Narratives of Note: Studies of Popular Forms in the 20th Century by Soledad S. Reyes

Narratives of Note is a collection of critical essays written by eminent scholar and critic Soledad Reyes between 2006 and 2010. Among the essays are studies on the Tagalog novel and the komiks, on Liwayway magazine, and on the dominant critical approaches in contemporary criticism as practiced by Filipino critics. The author is Professor Emeritus of the Ateneo de Manila University.
