This book brings to light and print a heretofore unknown manuscript written more than a 100 years ago by Arthur Riggs, a Philippine resident from 1902 to 1904. It also brings to light two lost plays, “Luhang Tagalog” and “Hindi Ako Patay” during that most interesting period of the “seditious” Filipino drama, when nationalism and independence movement went underground and were manifested in the performing arts.“Luhang Tagalog” has been described by some as a masterpiece of playwright Aurelio Tolentino.
