INTREPID BC GLOVES The latest glove in our collaboration series with Triple Aught design, the Intrepid BC, is constructed with materials from two of the world’s finest heritage makers. The BC refers to beach cloth, a heavyweight material first created in the early 20th century in New England. It’s now knitted in Japan with the same proprietary 2-ply wool / cotton blend as was used then. This high fleece-backed knit is used at top of hand and thumb and provides extra warmth and comfort against cold temperatures. Pittards® African hairsheep leather is water and perspiration resistant and is used at palm, straps and bindings. It delivers tactile sensitivity, exceptional comfort, extended softness and durability. As with all Philleywood gloves, we make with meticulous attention to detail & personally inspect each pair before numbering and adding to the limited batch.
