How Streamline Herbicide Works Streamline herbicide contains two active ingredients: aminocyclopyrachlor and metsulfuron methyl. Both ingredients inhibit cell division and interrupt mitosis, preventing growth in the weed's shoots and roots. As a pre-emergent herbicide, Streamline prevents weeds from growing and emerging from the soil. As a postemergent herbicide, it stops weeds from germinating and spreading. Where to Use Streamline Herbicide Use Streamline herbicide in areas away from grazing animals. It stops weeds from growing on uncultivated land such as airports and highways and prevents weed growth on farmyards and fence rows.
