From the depths of space it comes, A void, a darkness, that numbs, The stars and planets in its path, It brings with it the eternal wrath. Its tendrils stretch towards the earth, A shadow spreading, a curse of dearth, And all that stands in its way, Is swallowed whole, without delay. Its menace fills our hearts with dread, A terror that we cannot shed, For we are but specks in its sight, As it devours all that's bright. And so we wait, with bated breath, For the void to pass, for life and death, For in its wake, we'll be reborn, And the universe, once more adorned.   About The Canvas
