Vintage Volupte Portmanteau Purse Powder Compact CarryAll – Black Grosgrain – 1940s–50s Elegant and functional vintage Volupte CarryAll compact purse, measuring approx. 5 1/4" x 3" x 5/8" thick. Wrapped in classic black grosgrain with a 4 1/2" strap drop and expandable side compartment secured by a dome snap flap. The brass vanity case is in very good condition with only light scuffing on the bottom. Front features a triple-flower rhinestone applique—clear stones intact with no missing pieces. Interior includes a polished metal mirror on a spring hinge with a compartment behind (originally for money or cigarettes), a lipstick holder, signed powder pan with original Volupte USA powder puff, and an adjacent compartment holding a golden yellow grosgrain sleeve (likely once held a small comb).
