Garden Boot

Whimsical and charming, this sculpture transforms a child-sized boot into a 8" x 7" x 3.5" blooming garden of color. The piece is a delightful combination of materials, featuring a hand-painted base in vibrant shades of lavender, pink, and green that mimics a floral landscape. The upper portion of the boot is embellished with a playful mosaic of multicolored glass shards and round beads, culminating in a sculpted pink rose at the cuff and a large, stylized pink mosaic flower blossoming from the toe. This piece was handcrafted by Los Angeles-based artist Rosa. Inspired by the fresh ideas and boundless possibilities she found upon rejoining the artistic community, Rosa infuses this piece with a sense of joy and new beginnings.
