Old-Fashioned Apple Pie with Lattice Crust

Perfectly spiced apples encased in a flaky, tender all-butter crust. This pie can be stored loosely covered at room temp for a day or two (refrigerate if a longer shelf-life is needed). For best results, refresh the crust by heating in the oven for approximately 10-20 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool to room temp before eating.  This 9" pie serves 6-8 people.
