❢❢ This piece is called COAST!   This nautical mail holder with hand painted geometric stripes was inspired by the natural surroundings of my island studio. This area of Maine is dotted with summer cottages and I believe there is a place for modern when it comes to cottage decor. The background design is carefully hand painted in linear stripes with the natural wood tones (sealed with a water base urethane) accenting the light gray and warm Navajo white stripes. The warm palette blends together like a warm summer breeze with the 2 aluminum pockets for sliding in your mail.
