LAGOON // Mail Holder

❢❢ This piece is called LAGOON!   This all wooden nautical mail holder was inspired by the natural surroundings of my island studio. This area of Maine is dotted with summer cottages and I believe there is a place for modern when it comes to cottage decor. The geometric background design is carefully hand painted in linear stripes with the natural wood tones (sealed with a water base urethane) accenting the light gray and warm Navajo white stripes (FOG and SHELL on the color chart). The warm palette blends together like a warm summer breeze with a single wooden pocket for sliding in your mail along with 4 hooks below for those all too often misplaced keys.
