Introduction to Snowshoes DETAILS Date & Time:  January 20th: 11:00am – 12:30pm; 2:00pm – 3:30pm   We only cancel if Thunder or Lightening is present  Event Type:  Outdoor Activity – Beginner level snowshoe over some of the Pineland Farms snowshoe trails. Location:  Outdoor Center - 25 Campus Dr. New Gloucester, ME Fee: $20 per person (includes snowshoe rental) Registration: Pre-registration encouraged.  Who:  Open to all ages & abilities. Approximately 1 to 1.5 hours  Description:  Bring some friends or family and learn snowshoe basics. We will show you how to select and correctly put on snowshoes as well as basic skills of walking on trails with snowshoes. Poles are available for use if needed at no additional charge. We will meet at the Pineland Farms Outdoor & Fitness Center and take a short walk through the Pineland Farms trails.  Needed Gear:  Winter boots, snow jackets and pants (layers preferred), hat and gloves.  Questions?
