This butterhead type produces a loosehead, 8 to 9 inches across. Dark green and slow to bolt, the Buttercrunch Lettuce has been rated one of the dozen best vegetable introductions. It was developed at Cornell in 1963. Resistant to lettuce mosaic virus   300 seeds PLANTING Germination: 4-10 days Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 60-70ºF.
