ISLAND HORSE SORREL | FRAMED PAINTING

ISLAND HORSE SORREL is an oil stick and acrylic painting on canvas by Morgan Fisher. This frame is not 'sleek', perfect looking, refined.  It is custom-built, sturdy, repurposed and repainted, pine frame, painted black. There are some nicks from the size weight of the painting and from moving from shows and galleries. The back of frame is covered/backed by thin wood paneling and is flush with the painting frame. The entire framed image dimensions are approximately: These original oil stick paintings were all created 'freehand'; the oil sticks were applied directly with hands/fingers.  They are meant to be vibrant, bold, whimsical, expressive images- not precise nor realistic. This is original 'raw art' that borderlines on folk art.
