SHOREBREAK acrylic and oil stick painting on canvas by Morgan Fisher.  SHOREBREAK is a very large bold painting that was under painted with acrylics and then with large oil sticks to pop the color. The oil stick paintings are all created 'freehand'; the oil sticks were applied directly with hands/fingers.  No brushes nor tools/instruments are used to apply the medium. They are meant to be vibrant, expressive images- not precise nor realistic.  This style helps  keep the waves, water, sand, rocks more semi abstract and distorted, and about more about bold shapes, color, space. These wave and water images represent shape and color and the energy of water, waves, sand..This is original 'raw art' that borderlines on folk art. Also inspired by Milton Avery.   SHOREBREAK unframed approximate dimensions: It's BIG.  48"x 60" x 3"  Custom pine, white , pickle-stained, float frame is currently being made by Mark Langdon. This should give one the sense of 'beach home'.
