A few comments and things I would have like to have known prior to my purchase:-There is no temperature control. You fill with water, close the lid, and plug it in. If left alone, it will heat the steam until the safety valve(s) activate. To prevent this, you must unplug and replug to keep the temp/pressure at a certain range. This was not a big deal, but I would have liked to have known this before purchasing. This is not a set and forget device.-The unit had a fair amount of machine oil residue from the manufacturing process.
