Timed alongside Australia’s pivotal decision to legalize same-sex marriage, the campaign reinforced Uber’s commitment to freedom, equality, and visibility for LGBTQ+ communities. The “uBEr” Campaign At the heart of the campaign was the phrase “uBEr” — a celebration of individuality and the freedom to BE who you want to be. This message was brought to life at one of the world’s most iconic cultural events: the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. Pinlord’s designs took center stage, proudly displayed atop the Uber Pride float and celebrated by crowds throughout the parade.
