Pinnacle offers headmounts to reduce surgery times and enhance electrical connections for 3 EEG recordings. The headmount utilizes a Plastics One MS363 pedestal base mounted on top of the 9x9 mm board with EEG leads attached. EEG leads are connected to depth electrodes to measure LFP or Pinnacle’s 1/8” screws with wire leads (8247) to measure cortical activity. For 2 EEG/1 EMG experiments, the 8239 headmount is available with EMG wires. Note: Rat headmounts are not reusable.
