9000-K21: 12" Rat Cage System

The circular 1/4" clear acrylic rat cage has a 12" diameter and 12" height. Pinnacle's rat cage is excellent to use with all of Pinnacle's rat recording systems. Since the cage wall is equidistant from the pivot, the animal can comfortably reach the farthest point of its cage yet still not have too much slack in the tether when standing in the middle of the cage. This provides more comfort for the animal and less chance of the tether becoming fouled for the researcher. The stand creates a stable base for setup of cage and hardware systems and allows for easy height adjustment up to 24". Access to water is provided, and the open top makes cleaning and feeding easy and accessible.
