Swashbuckler Hat

This hat is not a tricorne, but a cavalier hat, which was popular before the tricorne came into fashion. Includes a ribbon hat band with matching cocking ribbon.  The hat is always cocked up on the right side, as it was designed for musketeer man who fired their musket on the right side.  The flash of the pan would blow their hat off every time they fired the weapon if they wore it on the left side.  This style look best with lots of plumes, so be sure to purchase a feather bundle.  This style currently come in black Wool felt.  Go to the Hat Accessories Page to order the optional hat pin, cockades o' individual feathers.
