Scribble – High-Resolution MIDI Scribble Strip Display Scribble is a compact, drop-in high-resolution display designed to label and update your pedalboard in real time. It works as a universal external “scribble strip” for MIDI-controlled rigs, giving you clear on-screen names, colours, and indicators that change instantly with your presets and footswitch actions. Powered with USB or 9V DC, Scribble integrates with any controller that supports custom MIDI messages - including Pirate MIDI controllers and other brands with configurable CC/PC outputs. Setup is done through the Pirate MIDI Web Editor, where you can customise layouts, colours, text, and other settings and behaviour. No menus or controls exist on the device itself; everything is configured online and saved directly to the unit.
