With their beautiful purple bloom eggs, lavender feathers, reliable laying schedule, and cute feathered feet, this rare breed has quickly become one of the breeds we are most excited about!  Lavender Marans have a docile and friendly personality and lay at a rate of about 200 eggs per year. Their eggs are lighter brown than the Black copper marans, but often have a heavy bloom that makes them have a plum/ purple hue. These eggs are a beautiful addition to your rainbow egg basket!!!   These eggs are from Lavender bred to Lavender. Because of the BBS Genetic you have the chance of getting Lavender, Splash, or Black chicks from them all of our hatches for the last 4 months have been all lavender.  Local Pickup Available  Redmond WA 98053 Eggs are sold straight run meaning we cannot guarantee the gender. Each chick has a 50/50 chance of being male or female.
