Sedum spurium 'Red Carpet', also known as Red Carpet Stonecrop, is a tough, fast-spreading, mat-forming succulent groundcover valued for its striking red-bronze foliage and vibrant summer flowers. Its low, trailing habit and dense coverage make it ideal for rock gardens, borders, green roofs, and erosion control on slopes. The foliage deepens to a rich burgundy in cooler weather, offering bold seasonal interest. In summer, clusters of bright pink to red star-shaped flowers appear, attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies.
