Materials: Nylon coated stainless steel wire, Sterling Silver, Freshwater Pearls, Stamped with Artist Signature. Dimensions: 20” around the neck with a 8” drop + 7” Bracelet Extender ARTIST STATEMENT: I used dripping bright white pearls in multiple shapes and sizes on this rosary-like lariat that resembles the female anatomy where the ampule serves as a nexus point and the “heart” of the piece. I love the idea of pearls having a dual meaning of purity as well as hyper-sexualized fecundity and the differing pearl shapes reference that interplay. -Meghan Patrice Riley
