4" Hypoestes, Pink Splash

Lovely Pink Splash is a bright and cheerful polka dot plant friend. Smallish leaves in a longish, pointed heart shape pair off on stiffish, dark stems, making a nice, orderly little bush, around 6" to 8" wide in a pot. They are grown in the ground in temperate winter areas, a very pretty, splashy foil to the greens in the garden. In the ground they get taller and fuller than in your home. But enough about that, the splashes are  vivid, bubblegumy pinks laid on a deep, dark, pine green; often the green highlights the veins and leaf margins in a more orderly fashion, sometimes she goes wild and splashes and speckles her pinks her own way. Lovely with your other plants in emerald green or especially lime green (she loves being next to a fern), and perfect in a terrarium, so easy to pinch and keep small.
