Arctostaphylos 'Emerald Carpet' (groundcover manzanita)

Carpet Manzanita A low-growing shrub one foot tall and spreads up to five feet wide. It is slow growing low form ground cover.   A compact and dense plant with small green leaves with cinnamon red stems with exfoliating bark. Small white flowers bloom in winter through spring, followed by red fruit.  -Full sun to partial shade -Rich, slightly acid and loamy well-draining soil -Requires occasional irrigation - Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, bees and birds -Hardy to 20 degrees - Native to California
