Generally upward-facing blooms appear on short to tall stems, depending on the variety. Foliage color ranges from green to gray-green to variegated lance-shaped leaves. About this Variety Tulip Little Beauty is known as a species tulip. They are fairly short in stature making them ideal as accents or planted in containers. They are mostly wild, yet commercially grown and naturalize extremely well. Little Beauty changes color as it matures. Petals are cherry red on the outside with a white and slate blue center. Each bulb produces several blooms.
