Try especially hard not to overwater when plants are young. Pests & Diseases: Watch out for slugs, snails and cabbage looper moths.HOW TO GROWTransplanting: Dig a hole the size of the travel pot. Remove the plant from its travel pot and place in the hole.  Cover with soil.  Be sure to avoid getting soil on the leaves and the crown of the plant.Spacing: Plant your seedlings 12” apartHARVESTINGCut lettuce does best when harvested in the morning and cooled rapidly. For salad mix or baby leaf production, harvest individual leaves when they reach your desired size.  To harvest the entire plant, cut across evenly above the growing tip. Varieties May Include: Green Towers, New Red Fire, Red Oak, Vulcan
