Yucca constricta | Buckley’s Yucca | 10 Seeds
Yucca constricta, commonly known as Buckley’s yucca or narrowleaf yucca, is a hardy, evergreen succulent native to the grasslands and desert areas of Texas and northern Mexico. This plant forms a compact, rosette of slender, pointed leaves that are green to blue-green and lined with curly, white fibers along the edges. The leaves typically grow 1 to 2 feet in length and are narrow, giving the plant an elegant, upright appearance. In spring or early summer, Yucca constricta produces a tall flower stalk that can reach up to 6 feet, topped with a showy cluster of bell-shaped, creamy white flowers that attract moths, bees, and other pollinators. This species thrives in full sun and well-draining, sandy, or rocky soils, making it extremely drought-tolerant and ideal for xeriscape gardens or dry landscapes. Its resilience to harsh conditions and minimal water needs make it a valuable addition to arid and low-maintenance gardens. Zones 6-8 Photo courtesy of Alplains Germination To germinate Y
