 A rare and distinctive Trichocentrum species, Trichocentrum stacyi thrives high in the canopy of Bolivia and Peru’s tropical rainforests. Part of the “rat-tailed” oncidium group, this unique orchid features fleshy, cylindrical leaves adapted to withstand periods of drought. In bloom, it produces striking orange and yellow flowers, their intricate spotted pattern echoed in the foliage. A closer look reveals tiny, freckle-like pinprick spots on the leaves, adding to its unusual charm. Availability: Offered mounted on plastic mounts, in blooming-size.  Care: Best grown in bright, indirect light with strong air circulation and high humidity, similar to Vanda conditions.
