Vanda Falcalta or Neofinetia VARIGATED Neofinetia falcata, also known as Vanda falcata, is a highly rewarding species native to China, Japan, and Korea. Commonly referred to as "furan" or "fukiran" in Japan, this orchid is particularly cherished for its beauty and fragrance. Known as the "Rich and Noble Orchid," it was once so highly prized that it was owned only by people of high rank, earning the nickname "Samurai Orchid." Neofinetia falcata is especially valued for its attractive foliage, making it a beautiful year-round addition to any home. It remains compact and produces many keikis as it matures. When in bloom, its delicate, long-lasting flowers fill the air with an intoxicating scent reminiscent of vanilla, honeysuckle, and orange blossom.
