Variegated Fox Tail Agave

This Variegated Fox Tail Agave is an attractive selection of the Agave attenuata. Like the species, ‘Ray of Light’ is gentle and graceful, characterized by smooth, pliable leaves free from menacing teeth or claws. However, this Fox Tail Agave has white stripes that stylishly borders each green leaf.Agave attenuata ‘Ray of Light’ is a frost-tender, elegant agave with large rosettes and an unusual, trunk-forming stem. This moderately-fast growing agave freely produces offsets, creating colonies up to 10 feet wide. It grows faster than ‘Boutin Blue’ but may not be as vigorous as regular green Fox Tail Agave.
