Ionantha Fuego Air Plant

The Ionantha Fuego Air Plant has a pineapple like shape with delicate layered leave protruding upwards. This his a medium length bright green air plant that blushes a vibrant red color when exposed to generous filtered sunlight. Similar to many of the plants in the Ionantha family, the top layers turn spectacular shades of red, and a beautiful purple and yellow flower emerges during full bloom.  The IO Fuego is similar to the IO Mexicana, IO Guatemalan and the IO Rubra, giving you options if one is not available. The Ionantha Fuego is a colorful, inexpensive little plant that works great in most any globe, terrarium or display. Our plants range from 2"- 4" in height and are typically not in bloom.
