Dead Man’s Tale Dead Man’s Tale is the first of Season of the Chosen’s exotic quests, the reward being a high-magazine, high-damage scout rifle that could easily become any guardian’s best friend.   The weapon’s exotic perk is Cranial Spike, which makes the shots do more damage as the player chains precision hits. The gun already does a heavy amount of damage by default, so being able to do even more will make it hit like a truck.   This weapon is a great primary in PvE, but within the first few hours of the quest being out, the crucible is already flooded with it. You can 3-shot enemy guardians to the head.
